Skater Girl - Sollux x Reader

  I nearly screamed as I heard the crash from down the hall. Getting up from my bed I made my way towards my brother’s room. “Tavros what the hell is going on!” I yelled.

“Oh uh sorry (Name). Sollux is just helping me fix my computer. Again.” Tavros said from the ground.

“Than why are you on the floor?” I asked.

“He tripped on my bag” Sollux said from the computer desk.

“Whatever I’m going to the skate park,” I said.

“Ya just be back before dinner,” Tavros said.

“Will do.” And with that I was out the door and down the stairs.

*Sollux’s pov*

  “Does your sister always act like that?” I asked still looking at the door.

“Ya she’s a real skater girl” Tavros said from the floor.

“Sweet” I said.

“Sollux…” Tavros said rather warily.

“Your sister’s hot.”

*Reader’s pov*

I was at the skate park one afternoon when I saw Sollux come into the park. I had no idea that he was a skate boarder.

“Hey Sol. What are you doing here?” I asked.

“Skating. What else would I be doing at a skate park (Name)” he said matter of factly.

“Do you even know how to?” By the was Sollux was precariously stepping on the board you had a good idea that he didn’t.

“Pfft! Of course I do.” Sollux put his other foot on the board and pushed off.

  It wasn’t ten minutes before Sollux was walking back over to (Name), who hadn’t moved since he had sped off into the park.

“Ok maybe I don’t know how to skate…” Sollux said. I couldn’t help but laugh. Sollux just grumbled.

“Don’t worry I’ll teach you” I said. “Although for now we should probably get you cleaned up.” I couldn’t help but notice the scrapes on his knees. I grabbed Sollux by the hand and led him out of the park and back to my place.

  A few weeks had passed since I had promised Sollux I would teach him how to skate. He was doing quite well. I looked up from the wheel I was changing on my board and over at my brother.

“Hey bro. What do you think of Sollux?” I asked.

“He seems nice to me,” he said, “Why?”

“Oh no reason” I said looking back down at my board.

“Oh come on (Name) there has to be something more to it than that. You have been spending a lot of time with him as of recent.” Tavros elbowed me in the side.

“Cut it out Tav.” I shot him an evil look.

“You have a crush on him don’t you.” That was it. I moved my board off my lap and pushed Tavros off the couch. I then picked my board off the floor and walked up to my bedroom.

“(Name). (Name)! Aw come on (Name)!” Tavros yelled from the floor.

  “Alright lets try this again,” I said helping Sollux up. He stood and got back on the board. I kept a good grip on Sollux’s hands as he balanced himself. “Now push off the ground and go.” I walked along side him still holding on to his hands. “I’m gonna let go now.” I warned Sollux before letting go.

“Whoa” Sollux said holding his arms out to try and balance himself. It looked like he was doing well until he hit a bump and was thrown off. “Fuck!”

“Sollux are you ok,” I said running over to him.

“Ya I’m fine,” he said dusting his hands off.  “You know I don’t really think I’m a skater.”

I couldn’t help but giggle. “No your really not.”

“But I do know one thing” Sollux said with a sly grin.

“And what is that?” I asked.

“I love you.” His statement caught me completely off guard. I blushed bright red. I didn’t really know what to say. “Oh god. I’m sorry. I get it if you don’t feel that way” Sollux rambled after seeing my expression.

“Don’t say that,” I said looking at the ground. “I love you too…” Sollux didn’t say another word; he just smirked and captured my lips in a kiss.
