May Flower - Jack Frost x Reader Final

  I found myself standing in the middle of a group of children in a clearing by a cliff. I tried to move, to talk but I had no control over my own body. "(Name)! (Name)! Sing us a song please! You were so good a the May day festival " One of the kids yelled.


"Ya sissy. Please!" A small girl who I assumed was my sister said.


"Not right now guys. But how about a game of tag" I said then reached out to touch one of the kids. "Your it Isabella." We all scattered throughout the clearing. The kids were laughing and having a great time and it made me smile to see them having fun. I ran to the edge of the cliff and observed the game going on infront of me.


"Sissy be careful by the cliff!" My sister yelled.


"Don't worry Lilly I will" I called back. Lilly ran off away from the person who was it as another boy came up beside me.


"(Name) it makes me so happy when you play with us. You really are the most fun person in town" the boy said with a beaming smile. I reached out and ruffled his hair.


"Thanks James" I smiled back at him, "You better run or Tyler is going to catch you." With that James ran off. Tyler didn't follow after him though, he kept coming towards me. I backed up until I was at the very edge of the cliff and had no where else to go.


"Got ya (Name)" Tyler said. He reached out and tagged me. Only there was a little more force behind it then he intended. I stumbled back from the push and my foot slipped off the edge. I became air borne. I heard the kids yelling my name as I tried franticly to find anything to grab a hold of to slow my fall. Just before I hit the ground I realized that this was the same vision I saw in my dreams every night, and I knew how it was going to end. I hit the ground with only one thought on my mind. This was how I died.


*Jack's POV*


  "(Name) I don't want to fight you. Just snap out of it already" I said fending off another of (Name)'s vine attacks. Pitch had possessed her and now she was fighting against me. The other guardians were busy fending off the nightmares that were trying to destory Mother Earth so I had (Name) all to myself. I didn't want to attack her back because I was afraid I would hurt her. "Come on (Name), your a guardian you have to fight off Pitch." Pitch's dark laughter came from the edge of the clearing.


"(Name) won't be coming back to you anytime soon. In fact I think never" Pitch said.


"We'll see about that."


*Reader's POV*


  I was surrounded by nothing but darkness. Nothing to do, no where to go. All I did was think about the memory I'd just seen, my memory in fact. I'd had a little sister and lots of little friends too. Part of me was happy now that I knew who I used to be but part of me was sad as well. All of them were long gone by now. Suddenly a light appeared off in the distance. I ran towards it feeling happier and happier the closer I got. At the source of the light were two girls. I was sitting cross legged with my sister on my lap. "Sissy please sing me the spring song" Lilly asked. "It always makes me so happy when you do."


"Of course love" I watched myself brush a strand of hair out of her face.


Open up your door my friend, and let me come in

Come in from the firefly darkness to hear your stories again

I have wondered through this land

From end to end

I've come home from the firefly darkness

To sing with you again

Of fireflies and full moons over meadows green

Like the wild new lilies of the spring, the spring


I've been up in mountain skies

With the elk and the snow

Heard the silence of the prairie

And watched the wild grass grow


Road and river beckon me

In voices clear and low

My path will be lit by fireflies

The spring


  I felt the smile on my lips. It was the same song that I sang every spring to get the flowers to grow. It was such a happy song. Deep down in my heart I knew that's I brought to children; happiness. They would sing and dance around the may pole and most importantly they'd be happy because spring was finally here. "Thank you sissy" Lilly said. She smiled brightly and started to hum the song. Everything started to lighten. The darkness was fading away and I could feel myself regain consciousness . "Thank you Lilly" I said. The last thing I heard before waking was the sound of her laughter.


  I blinked a few times before everything came back into focus. Laying on the ground below me was Jack. I had him pinned with my staff against his neck. "(N-name)?" He rasped out. It took me a minuet to realize I was aplying pressure to the staff and cutting off his air suply.


"Oh my god!" I quickly got off of Jack and helped him up. "Why on earth was I on top of you like that."


"No time to explain right now (Name), we still have to deal with Pitch" Jack pointed at Pitch who was standing at the edge of the clearing.


"No! How could you have broken the spell!" Pitch yelled. He advanced, coming into the middle of the clearing. The guardians lined up with Jack and I infront of Mother Earth.


"It's over Pitch. You won't be getting your hands on Mother Earth" I pointed my staff at Pitch.


"Make me" he growled in return.

I started to sing. All around the clearing laughter erupted.


"No! No! This can't be happening!" Pitch yelled and covered his ears to block out the sound. He stumbled back towards the shadows.

"I'll be back! Just you wait!" Pitch yelled one final time.


"And we'll be ready to stop you when you do." I said, and with that he was gone. A pair of very large arms picked me up from behind and spun me around so I was face to face with North.


"That was amazing!" Tooth cheered. North hugged me tight before setting me down infront of Mother Earth.


"You did wonderfully (Name). I know you'll make a splendid guardian" Mother Earth said with a smile.


"A what now!" I spun around to face the guardians.


"I was coming to tell you when Pitch kidnapped you, but Manny said your the newest guardian" Jack said. He had his usual huge grin plastered on his face. I'm sure my eyes were as wide as dinner plates when he said that.


"Oh my god!" I squeeled and flew into the air. "Really, truely!" I landed infront of Jack looking at him expectantly.


"Really. Would I ever lie to you." I wrapped my arms around Jack and spun him around.


"We should go to the pole to make it offical" North said.


"You guys go on ahead I wanna talk with (Name) for a moment" Jack said. North helped Mother Earth into the sleigh and the other guardians followed. Once they were well out of ear shot Jack turned back to me. His cheeks were dusted light pink. "(Name) there's something I've been meaning to tell you for a long time. I don't know why I kept putting it off but after what happened today I can't wait any longer." Jack walked closer to me until there was only inches between us. "I love you." And with that Jack closed the distance and pressed his lips against mine. His lips were cold and tingled against mine. He tasted like mint and pine and everything about it sent shivers down my spine. When we pulled apart for air I pulled Jack into another hug.


"I love you too Jack."


*Extended Ending*


  It was the day after May day and instead of celibrating with the other guardians I was sitting on the edge of a cliff looking out at the forest below it. The rush of cold air and russling of clothes told me that Jack had just landed beside me. I didn't look over at him, I just kept staring out at the landscape. "This is where I died you know" I said.


"I'm sorry to hear that" Jack said. My eyes left the view infront of me to meet Jack's.


"It's alright though because now I know that I had a sister" I smiled although I could feel the tears threatning to spill over. Jack didn't say a word he just pulled me in close as I started to cry. "I-I let her down."


"Shhh. That's not true. I'm sure she was the happiest girl alive because she had a sister like you." Jack rubbed my back softly until my sobs started to slow. After I'd calmed down I pulled away.


"Thanks Jack" I said.


"It was nothing princess. Now how about we go celebrate at the north pole." Jack extended his hand which I gladly took.


"I love you Jack."


"I love you too."
